Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Pipemidic Acid are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Dizziness, Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Fever, Abdominal pain, Urticaria, Pruritus, Stomatitis
Precaution
Pipemedic acid is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal faliure (creatinine clearance below 10 ml/min) since urinary levels may not be adequate for therapy and, in some patients, increased drug levels in the blood and cerebrospinal fluid may occur
