Zovanta 40mg Infusion
Description
Zovanta 40 MG Injection is a proton pump inhibitor used for the short-term treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), the healing of Erosive Esophagitis, and other acidity related disorders in patients with damage to their esophagus or who are unable to take oral forms of pantoprazole.
Uses
It is used to treat erosive esophagitis (damage to the esophagus from stomach acid caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD) in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. Pantoprazole is usually given for up to 8 weeks at a time while your esophagus heals
Side Effects
It can cause headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomitting etc
Precautions
Before taking pantoprazole, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to similar drugs (such as lansoprazole, omeprazole); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
